“As a child, I had a wonderful dentist whom I admired and respected for his gentle approach to patient care and the positive work he did in our community. I remember telling my mother, when I was just 3 years old, that I wanted to be a dentist. As I grew older, I developed a deep interest in biological sciences and also in service to others. I spent considerable time shadowing my childhood dentist and other dentists throughout high school and college and loved every moment. I quickly realized that my childhood dreams were perfectly in line with my grown-up professional aspirations.
“Working as a dentist has afforded me an opportunity to work with many of the people in our community and allows me to apply my passion for biological sciences to my daily practice to prevent and treat disease. I also love the chance to get to know individuals and their families and I look forward to the opportunity, as I continue to practice, to maintain lifelong relationships with my patients.”
Respect, compassion and patient comfort
“I treat my patients with the utmost respect and compassion, listening carefully to their concerns, thoroughly evaluating their oral health condition and providing honest feedback about treatment options and prevention plans. My goal is to provide the best possible state-of-the-art care and complete patient comfort. I hope to give my patients an environment where they can comfortably have all of their dental concerns and needs addressed, where they know that the care they receive is of the highest quality and where they feel they (and their moms, dads, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives and children) can return for years to come to have all of their dental needs met.
“I am an educator at heart, so I truly enjoy taking the time to listen to my patients’ concerns, address all their questions and educate them about their specific conditions and oral health. Having the patience to spend time learning about each patient’s concerns helps me develop a treatment plan and/or oral health maintenance plan that is tailored very carefully to each patient’s specific wants and needs.”
